“Twitch is my best channel. I am an affiliate there. However, I haven’t been able to really build up my other live channels because, for Twitch, I have to wait before I can share the repeat anywhere else. Unfortunately, I don’t have time to do so many additional live streams on other networks, so I upload the Twitch stream as a video on my YouTube 24 hours after it goes live. Compared to the original live stream, it’s definitely lame.”
“This is so cool. I couldn’t believe that I could stream my Twitch repeats live — even with my computer off or while I do other things! Restream’s Scheduler is a genius and a game-changer.”
“When I finish live streaming on Twitch, I go to Scheduler and upload the saved video file. With just a few clicks, I can schedule that video to go live the following day at the same time to multiple different platforms. The next day, I don’t have to worry about streaming live repeats of my original stream — everything happens automatically.”
“It’s been amazing to be able to really focus on what my viewers are saying and how they respond to my gameplay. I’m able to build stronger relationships with my audience. My followers must think I have 8 hands — really, I just have Restream!”
Hello,
this is my first post here. I am an ex Mint user who wanted to try a new distro, so I am a bit used to just installing the OS and have it 'just werk' so I need a little help with this. I searched a little and couldn't find an answer, so sorry if it's common knowledge for you.
I can't view streams from Twitch.
I have installed the media codecs as the sticky says (I also installed flash, but disabled it in the addons of Firefox - I keep it just in case a site absolutely requires it), but Twitch does not play for me! It only works when I turn flash on, which is weird as on Mint (or Windows), Twitch works without flash (it has a html5 player which is turned on by default), and out of the box at that.
I get a black screen with 'No supported video backend available ; Flash is not installed'.
Anybody has an idea?
Thanks in advance.
edit:
if it helps solve the problem (it might be related for all I know), https://www.youtube.com/html5 show that h264 and MSE are not supported by my FF.
